What the Briefing Package includes

A set of essential information to operate at the field in full safety.

Grass runway 01-19 (identifier VR17), 600 × 25 m, elevation 278 ft AMSL, frequency 130.000 MHz.

Left-hand circuits for runway 01 and 19, with published altitudes and procedures.

No overflight of Gardaland, windsock at midfield on the east side.

How to request, validity conditions and parking fees.

Runway 01-19

Grass runway, 600 × 25 m. Runway 01 preferential for landing, runway 19 preferential for takeoff.

Slope: slight initial climb for the first 100 m, then 100 m flat and a very light descent over the remaining 400 m.

Slope: slight initial climb for the first 400 m, then 100 m flat and a light descent over the last 100 m.

Procedures

Standard left-hand circuit for both runway 01 and runway 19.

For runway 01 it is recommended to avoid the downwind leg above the Gardaland park.

Good to know

Radio frequency 130.000 MHz — blind transmission.
Fire fighting service not available at the airfield.
AVGAS and MOGAS fuel not available at the airfield.
San Marco Petroli fuel station about 1.5 km away (Via Gardesana 4, Castelnuovo del Garda).
Bicycles available for pilots to get around the area.
